Summer

As spring departs and summer takes over, so the vines are in full bloom. Warm summer days help bring the grapes on, the bunches starting to form on the vines in abundance. The drier days mean the vines work harder to search for water, enhancing minerality through greater depth as they search for water. June sees the start of the countdown of 100 days to the harvest, and the first signs of the size of the years’ crop are known.

Summer is all about the Rose! Fresh summer berries combined with beautiful Rose champagne is a must. Picnics are supplemented with fine Brut and the summer celebrations topped off with fine vintages. It’s the season for enjoying champagne to the full!!
