Tasting Notes & Product Information

Tasting Notes

On the Eye:

A soft beautiful pink with amber highlights

On the Nose:

The bouquet is lively and intense with red fruits including wild strawberry, raspberry and cherry. There are floral nuances of rose and a slight hint of pepper

On the Palate:

A wonderful combination of juicy, persistent intense berries (strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant) with the addition of the fleshiness and firmness of peach. Finally there is a freshness with a subtle note of menthol

Food Pairing:

Rose Imperial works well with simple but intense flavours. Try with any of the following:

Red meats such as duck, goose and fresh game

Goats cheese, mozzarella, mascarpone

Fresh red fleshed fruits

Fresh or dried herbs

Black olives and red onions

Pink peppercorns, Szechuan pepper and paprika
